Privacy Policy
Status of this notice
This policy is prepared for the pre-launch partner review of Vetusta Metallum. Before paid services are accepted, the final legal identity and postal details of the contracting service provider must be confirmed and added.
Who controls personal data
For enquiries submitted through this website, the website operator is Volodymyr Marchenko / Vetusta Metallum. Contact: vetustametallum@gmail.com. If a project is contracted through an independent partner, the client will be informed in writing which party is the contractual service provider and which party processes personal data for that project.
Data we may receive
Name and contact details; correspondence; information about an object and its provenance supplied by the client; photographs and videos of objects; technical metadata necessary to operate the website; and, only after consent, analytics information from Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries and pre-contract communication are processed to respond to requests and take steps requested before a possible contract. Project documentation may be processed for performance of an agreed service and legitimate professional record-keeping. Legal or accounting records may be retained where required by law. Optional analytics are used only on the basis of consent.
Analytics and consent
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-EK1EZGPXXD) and Microsoft Clarity (project ID xx4rwo6h31) are not loaded until the visitor expressly accepts analytics. Visitors can continue without analytics and can change their choice through the Privacy settings control.
Project photographs and confidentiality
Project photographs are not published by default. Public use on the website, social networks, articles or professional materials requires separate affirmative permission from the owner. Consent to publication is separate from consent to treatment and is not inferred from silence.
Recipients and international transfers
Website hosting, email, analytics or other technical providers may process data as service providers. Google and Microsoft services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers must rely on a valid GDPR transfer mechanism and the provider’s contractual safeguards.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, professional records, dispute prevention and applicable legal obligations. Consent records are retained to demonstrate the visitor’s privacy choice. Retention periods will be finalized before commercial launch.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time for future analytics processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) or another competent supervisory authority.
